Houston Astro's Background:

They came to the National League with the New York Mets as the first group of the new expansion team. For many years they played in the first dome staduium called the Astrodome. It was so unique to a baseball stadium that it was called the 8th wonder of the world. The Astrodome and have been retire and now the Astros plays in a outdoor stadium call Minute Maid Field.

Fun Fact: After many heartbreakers, the Astro played in their first World Series against the Chicago White Sox and got sweep in four games. Astroturf was also invented in Astrodome because you could not grow grass inside the dome so they have to use synthetic grass call the Astroturn.
